Ok I finally found time to get another pic up.
As I mentioned in the comments of the previous blog post, it was indeed toothpaste!

    Intriguing. I notice that the pattern of the little balls is geometrical. And there are some kind of strings visible on the right. I would indeed go for a biological structure as seen under a microscope, probably a plant. Maybe it really is some kind of aquatic structure building being, such as a red algae, bryozoan, or coral.
