My, my, my! That was some properly sweet perches right there! It waters my mouth just looking at them!
If you ever come to Sweden Wests, please come to my farm and bring your cooking gear (dont have my own, mcdonalds are close) and i promise you if you cook me perches and buns like in your other post ill do anything for you!

Talking off doing anything for you, in one pic your shirt is off. I am not sure but i think you are male, is that right? Surprises me since i had you down as a female when you went all crying/emotional and baked me buns.

Anyhow, you should be really careful when you travel with fishing gear. I am in airport security and i know for sure there are some bad people out there praying in naive fisherman and replacing their bags with ones containing drugs, or bombs if they are called Ahmed and you are a white Pekka or what ever your name is.

Do you know there is someone with an alligator on his head in your first picture? That can NOT be healthy!

Anyhow, your survival skill impressed me. First when i saw the headline i tought it would be about canned beans though, the perches was a good surprise. Just watch yourself so you dont get a common roach or a or a tench on your hook!

Lol yes those alligators were pretty annoying so we caught them also and made hats.

We also got a few trenches and threw them to the seagulls roaches arent that common where we fished. We were also outgeared to catch any big gädda.

Whaaaat? Didnt you get a gädda even with good gear? Its impossible, gäddor always snap at everything. You should have used a live tench for bait, that sure brings them in.

We didnt have that good gear for gädda, only metspö. We would have needed kastspö and baits with bigger hooks. But its true that they even eat metal spoons if they see one.

Oh yeah now i get it. I tought outgeared meant your gear was meant for gäddor. But thats right, metspö is shit for gäddor. Might still have worked with a long line and a live perch as bait. But off course no need to waste a fine aborre just to catch a 0.5 kg gädda.

The best is the spring when the gäddor leker, you can catch them by hand in shallow water then.

Next week Im going to the archipelago for a week or two with our boat. I will post here if I catch a big gädda

Nice survival guide Wests. Thing is i hate fish so if you could make another one where you catch a wild boar, that'd be sweet. Thanks

Make sure to raid a few barns when you are there, and try to bring lots of bandages incase one of the local infected bites you. And grab all the lee endfields the farmers have lieing about off course.

And that Ulf post sure did surprise me, but with wests making buns for him i guess it is natural that he has taken a keen interest in these blogs

Wests is that an actual fishing rod or two sticks tied together with masking tape?

Its an fishing rod it has a plastic "stick" taped to it, so you can put the line around it when you finish.

A bit dissapointed but I hope I can catch a bigger one when I head out to the sea again.

I hate fish (except salmon), but I'll be sure to adapt the shelter design to my own zombie apocalypse needs.

Can you actually sell fish to supermarkets? I've seen it happen but I always thought it was kinda weird.
